If you haven’t already started dressing like her, wearing your hair like her and following her on the London scene, it-girl Edie Campbell is the latest model name you’re required to commit to memory.

Anonymity was no longer an alternative after Vogue’s Lucinda Chambers cast Edie  for her first editorial. This very shoot brought her to the attention of legendary photographer Mario Testino who later shot the beauty in the Burberry campaign alongside Kate Moss and an additional one flanking, yet another high profile supermodel, Agyness Deyn. If that doesn’t make me envious enough, she is presently dating my “future husband”, Johnny Borrell of Razorlight (with whom I fell “in love” long before meeting him when the band was on tour in SA a couple of years back. Oh woe is me, I say).

Only 18, and with several high-profile campaigns in the pipeline, face of Marc Jacobs and featured in Vogue Italia in March, she is fast becoming the next supermodel to watch.
