Township Boutique

A new store opened in the Cape Quarter last night, Township Boutique, which prides itself on fair trade fashion and only sells garments that are made from 100% African non-GM cotton fabrics. The patterns and colours are unique and solely inspired by the townships; the company employs around 70 women living in the townships and helps to improve their lives by giving them new opportunities. Zolani from Freshly Ground was there last night to show support and was wearing one of the spectacular pieces.
