Heidi Klum releases new jewelry line
Super model and business woman Heidi Klum is releasing a new fragrance as well as a new jewelry line towards the end of this year. Her new collection is called Wildlife by Heidi Klum and will launch during the first week of September. There are 35 styles in various colors and an assortment of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. Prices will range from $30 to $200.
If you recall, back in 2006, Heidi released a fine jewelry collection for QVC in sterling silver but was discontinued in 2009 after a lawsuit by Van Cleef & Arpels alleged the designs infringed on its signature Alhambra Collection clover motif. Heidi reveals:
“We fought with Van Cleef & Arpels for over a year and a half, but we were small fry next to a company like that. But looking back, I’m quite happy to be doing something new. I feel free now with this. I can reach more people with costume jewelry, the prices are great and I can make big pieces. It’s way more fun.”
Klum will be wearing items from her collection throughout the upcoming season of ‘Project Runway, the collection features gemstones such as quartz and opal. The collection is very exotic and different but very fashionable. Wonder what the German beauty will venture into next?
