After much controversy surrounding fashion guru, Marc Jacobs’ recent ad, starring Dakota Fanning (below), which was banned in the UK, he seems to be backing off just a bit. In his first TV ad, which advertises his classic fragrance, Daisy.

I must say that he almost drives us to sleep with this uber chilled out ad.  The video was shot in Southern Spain by TJ Wilcox and Juergen Teller and features wistful music and beautiful models, relaxing on rolling hills amongst daisies. What do you think? Is Marc Jacobs perhaps creating a less controversial image for the brand, now that he’s gotten so much flack? I must say,  I like the controversy, just not when it sexualizes someone who is under 18 years old.
