Awesome new Dior ad brings icons back to life
Charlize Theron has certainly stuck by the Christian Dior fashion house through the years, even with the Galliano scandal and all. Charlize is back in a new TV ad for their signature fragrance, J’Adore. The ad features a seductive Charlize alongside a collection of beauties you may recognise, none other than the fabulous Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe. They have been digitally brought back to life for this really cool ad. Love it!

Although I love reading the Marie Claire blog/website and find the content quite interesting. I need to pause and say that it is INCREDIBLY concerning that the writer penning the Dior article finds it okay to insert comments/phrases such as; ‘which is more than we can say of many other celebs (say Natalie Portman)’.
At no point in time is it okay to make snide comments about individuals displaying their non-tolerance of derogatory/prejudice/rascist/anti-semetic behaviour. And at no point in time is it okay to tolerate this from anyone on any platform – freedom of speech or not. Are we kidding????? And then still to add ‘which is more than WE…’ (implying on behalf of the Marie Claire team)??
Hey Bianca, yes I actually realised when I wrote the piece that it might be taken the wrong way. I should have rephrased it. At Marie Claire we are against any racist, anti-semetic or other unequal treatment of people. I think that Natalie’s decision was correct without any doubt and find it strange that some people were still willing to work with Galliano after his rant. So I am really so sorry and didn’t mean to sound snide. Thanks!
