Documentary on ageing supermodels to premiere at Sundance
Sundance starts this Thursday and if I could be there (one day is one day) I would definitely catch the premiere of this documentary called About Face. It takes a look at the modelling industry through the eyes of greats from the 70s and 80s including Roshumba, Carol Alt, and Carmen Dell’orefice.
The women take us back to the height of their careers and describe how they were treated during a time when women’s rights weren’t as clearly defined. They also share their views on beauty, ageing in the public eye, and cosmetic procedures.
