The Help opens tomorrow

This weekend I will definitely be making a plan to to see The Help. Based on the book by Kathryn Stocket, Emma Stone plays the main character Skeeter Phelan. Other characters include Viola Davis as Aibileen, Octavia Spencer as Minnie and Bryce Dallas Howard as Hilly.

I couldn’t put the book down and was astounded to read that it was rejected by 60 literary agents before being published. It went on to sell five million copies and has spent more than 100 weeks on the The New York Times Best Seller list.
