My best dressed at the Oscars
This is an incredibly difficult to post to compile. I always love scanning the red carpet but this time I had to do so while purposefully avoiding details that would give the game away – you see I didn’t stay up til 3am to catch the awards ceremony. I’ll only be watching with keen interest tonight. So far so good.
My favourite dress of the evening: Mila Kunis’ lacy lavendar Elie Saab. She couldn’t have picked a better dress for her frame.
Gwyn in Calvin Klein – she always brings her A-game this one.
The lovely Florence Welch in Valentino
Cate Blanchett looks so regal in Givenchy Haute Couture. I’m not sold by the dress but she certainly wears it well.
I’m a little undecided about Michelle Williams’ Chanel gown – is it not a bit too translucent for comfort? Do you not find yourself sort of looking to see if her underwear is visible… or is it just me peut-etre? Thoughts?

LOL! I know! That’s why I call it ‘My best dressed’.
Mila Kunis – definitely one to watch in the style stakes. Her dark allure and pretty, frilly dresses make for an interesting combination. Cate Blanchett, I’ve always been impressed with. Her sometimes strange but elegant style always works. I dont mind Michelle Williams’s Chanel – maybe she could’ve spiced it up with a signature piece – a brooch or a lovely sparkely clutch, just to give a little colour..
