Adele vs. Lagerfeld
Adele looked beautiful in her Giorgio Armani boatneck gown and flawless make-up at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday evening. This was Adele’s first performance since undergoing surgery on her vocal chords. Last week a war of worlds emerged between Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld and songbird Adele. Lagerfeld was a guest editor for Metro newspaper and said “the thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice”. She responded to Lagerfeld’s comment by announcing that she’s proud of her figure. Luckily, he has since apologised and announced that he is huge fan of hers.
Regardless of Lagerfeld’s comments, Adele walked away with six Grammy awards at Sunday night’s ceremony. Winning a perfect score for her six nominations including Song of the Year, “Rolling in the Deep”; Record of the Year; Album of the Year, “21”; Short Form Music Video, “Rolling in the Deep”; Pop Solo Performance, “Someone like You” and Pop Vocal Album, “21”.
We wonder what Lagerfeld would have to say about the queen of Grammy’s now?
